November 7, 2024 from 10am-1pm - Graphite Pencil Drawing
This is a fun and comprehensive class that’s loaded with information about composition, shapes, angles, space and value (just to name a few). Learn how to start a drawing correctly by creating the right “foundation”. It leads to success every time, with good, professional looking, accurate, mood boosting results!
Instructor brings a few simple line drawings for everyone to begin so that she can get an idea of how each student "sees" shapes/angles. All levels are welcome and can progress at their own speed. Advanced students can improve their drawings by correctly using composition, value, depth of field/planes, foreshortening and perspective, and may bring their own subject matter/reference material.
Instructor's Note:
"I love to teach this class because so many people that really want to draw well or improve their existing skills can be hindered by not having the missing information needed to get them there. I fill in those missing pieces, and I love watching it unfold, and seeing all those smiling faces!
Join us - you’ll be impressed with what you can accomplish. "
Note: There are two classes on the calendar (Nov 7 & Nov 21). Each is an individual class. It is recommended to take both classes in order to learn and reinforce the foundational aspects, however, you can take one, or the other, or both. You must register for each class separately.
