Plein Air painting gives artists the opportunity to SEE the world unfiltered, and develop their own interpretation of the scene in front of them. Please download this document for suggestions re equipment:  Plein Air painting tips

In this, the first plein air painting group of the PC Art Club, we will concentrate on the basics, including:
- how to narrow the scene 
- doing a quick painting to capture light, highlights and form 
- changes to make your painting successful

We will meet on the patio of the Tuscany Clubhouse - convenient to the coffee bar and restrooms, as well as tables if you want to use a table easel. Please bring an old shower curtain or other covering to avoid accidental spills on the patio.

Please bring lunch which we'll enjoy at the end of the session as we review how we did and suggestions for further sessions.
